Opened in 2010, Ichibantei features a "teishoku", or everyday Japanese set meals menu in the heart of east village. the restaurant features everyday meals which Japanese mothers would prepare for their children growing up in Japan. with high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients, Ichibantei features Japanese soul cuisine with some soulful reggatone sounds to the neighborhood.  with vinyl record covers on the walls and reggae music blasting from the speakers, the restaurant embodies a neighborhood-friendly atmosphere  perfect for after-work or late-night meals and drinks.
